Burgundy Ficus

Also known as the Burgundy rubber tree, she's a gorgeous floor plant that acts as a leafy and colorful focal point in a room. It produces large, almond-shaped leaves with a greenish-purple sheen.

Rubber Plant grows best in a bright spot. She likes high light, but not direct sunlight. Allow the top inch or so of the soil to dry between waterings. She hates overly moist or soggy soil. Fertilize baby girl a few times a year, in spring and summer, to keep her healthy.

She can spend the summer outdoors on a shaded deck or patio. Be sure to bring baby girl indoors as the weather cools down, she cannot withstand a freeze.
